Inspired by Yayoi Kusama’s 1968 self-obliteration performances in collaboration with the Joshua Light Show produced by the prominent concert promoter Bill Graham for the Fillmore East Theater in New York, The Broad presented Joshua Light Show, an immersive environment of light and sound in the spirit of Kusama's self-obliteration performances. The program featured musical performances by Lesley Flanigan, Miho Hatori's New Optimism, and Noveller.
