The Broad offered the public a glimpse into the unfinished museum with two immersive installations that activated the third-floor gallery. Nilsen’s sound work DTLA brought the soundscape of downtown Los Angeles into the museum. Stillness, the second installation featured in Sky-lit, by multidisciplinary artist Yann Novak, created an immersive environment for reflection, inviting visitors to contemplate the effect of climate and light on their physical and emotional states.
